Norma Serra

Norma holds a MSc from University of Victoria, and an Advanced GIS degree from Spain. Norma is Program Manager with the Pacific Marine Analysis and Research Association (PacMARA) where she leads the training program on systematic conservation planning and decision support tools like Marxan.

In 2017, Norma was trained to become one of Blue Solutions trainers. Since then, she has applied marine spatial planning concepts and activities in her trainings with PacMARA. Norma is also Research Associate at the University of Victoria studying the effects that human activities have on marine and coastal environments. Norma is originally from Barcelona, Spain, but now lives in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, with her husband and daughter.
